Disneyland Evolution Risograph Print
Disneyland Evolution Risograph Print
Walt Disney proclaimed of his creation, "Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world." Opened on July 17, 1955 — and heading into its 68th year — the original Magic Kingdom has continued to evolve exponentially.
This 3-color Risograph print visually illustrates Disneyland's growth in 15-year increments from 1955 to 2015 and then eight years into 2023 as the park expands beyond it's original boundaries. Show building footprints are shown in gold, water in blue, and transportation (Main Street, Monorail, Autopia, etc.) shown in gray.
A note about Risograph prints: We embrace experimenting with all forms of printing. Risograph, like theme park crowds, is unpredictable. Prints often exhibit an organic graininess, misregistration, and uneven coverage. They are not perfect, and that's what we love about them.
