Ltd. Ed. Sandy Koufax Perfect Game 18x24 Serigraph Poster
Before a home crowd of 29,139 on September 9, 1965, Dodgers legend Sandy Koufax pitched his first and only perfect game. Koufax's perfection was critical that evening. Buried under the achievement was the brilliant performance of Cubs starter Bob Hendley, who took the loss despite pitching a one-hitter and the Dodgers scoring only one unearned run.
This limited edition serigraph illustrates the right field scoreboard at Dodger Stadium as it would have appeared the moment Koufax hurled his final pitch. Longtime Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully was there to make the call, "It is 9:46 p.m. Two and two to Harvey Kuenn, one strike away. Sandy into his windup. Here's the pitch. Swung on and missed, a perfect game!"
